Ready for a quick recap of Cherokee’s performance at the Group 4 meet?
Well, instead of a 2 day “normal” track meet, NJSIAA decided to move the meet to a 1 day, very long meet thanks to the Canadian wildfires!
Cherokee performed well and is moving many athletes to the Meet of Champions.
Below, you’ll see the results from the girls and the boys. Keep in mind that the top 2 from this race automatically make the Meet of Champions, but then the fastest 18 non-auto qualifiers across all of the group meets will also make Wednesday’s Meet of Champions.
Meet of Champions info:
🕤 2:00 pm start
📍Franklin HS in Somerset, NJ
📅 Wednesday, June 14th
We are proud to have 2 representatives joining the Cherokee Track & Field team at their banquet tonight.
The 4xAlumni Association will be awarding eight (4 for the boys and 4 for the girls) scholarships to deserving seniors on each track team. Please consider donating below to help with the scholarhips.
Thank you to the athletes, coaches, Cherokee booster club, parents, admins, and everyone else for supporting the Cherokee Chiefs.
