Cherokee Final Countdown

Hello all!

Hope you are doing well. Just letting you know that there is a track meet at Cherokee HS this upcoming Thursday.

It’s called the Cherokee Final Countdown and is sure to be a good opportunity to watch a high-level track meet close to home.

Swedish SMR 100-200-300-400

Pole Vault, High Jump, & Long Jump starting at 3:30

Shot Put, Discus, & Javelin starting at 3:30

Field will start at 3:30 and the track at 4PM

A quick note from Coach Jarvis, Head girls coach:

The spring season has been one that has seen a lot of growth in some first-year athletes. The highlight so far has been the 4x8 relay team that qualified for the COA race at Penn Relays and then ran nearly 10 seconds faster the next day to break the outdoor school record.

The team finished their dual meet season 3-1 and are excited to see what they can accomplish in the last [6] weeks.
